Please read this before posting to apply.
What is a proofreader?
Proofreading generally means reading a copy of a text (in our case, a script of some kind) and detecting/correcting any errors. Though correcting spelling and error is great, there are some extra things a proofreader is expected to do, which is covered in the second question in this post.

What am I expected to do as a proofreader?
The obvious main expectation is that you are fluent in English, and is able to correct things like spelling and grammar. Please note that knowing the language of the RAW is not required, but if you do know another language (such as Japanese or Chinese), please tell us. Also, please mark everything you correct in red, regardless of whether it's a whole sentence (as in you rephrased) or a single letter. Another expectation is that you follow the rules we have set.

What rules do I have to follow as a proofreader?
There are a few rules other than simply proofreading the word document, but those will be included in the test folder, so please take a look at it. Some rules focuses on spacing, some on punctuation, and a few other ones. They are pretty self-explanatory (at least in my opinion anyway), and there are examples provided if you somehow don't get my sentences.

Any other questions? You can ask in your reply below, try to catch me in our chatbox, send me a private message, or email us at rayns.lelescans@hotmail.com (but please don't send in applications to our email. I'd appreciate it if you post under "Applicants").
